DID YOU KNOW?
- U-Pass replaces cash for all CTA fares - no cash is needed.
- U-Pass is also valid for CTA Para-transit Special Services (for those qualified through the RTA) until the printed expiration date.
- U-Pass will deactivate if a student does not meet the requirement by the add/drop deadline and will be non-refundable.
- CTA determines how fees are applied and collected.
- U-Pass does not require a transfer or surcharge.
- U-Pass is NOT valid for travel on Metra commuter trains and Pace bus system.
- DePaul is a participant in the CTA U-Pass program; however, fees, rules, and regulations are established by the Chicago Transit Authority and may change periodically.
- CTA verifies student enrollment and accepts the exception criteria
- DePaul University has a student organization for commuter students. Commuter Advisory Board could be found on Facebook.
